Agadir to Ouarzazate to the desert of Chegaga 4Days

Day 1 : Agadir – Taroudant – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate
Departure AT 8AM to Ouarzazate, and the South of Morocco, via Taroudant. Taroudant city tour, one of the oldest city of Morocco which has kept intact the character of its past. You can admire in the souk true craftsmanship. Afterwards we continue to Ouarzazate. Before reaching Ouarzazate city we will stop to visit the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou a UNESCO site, where we are going to have lunch. In the Afternnon we leave to Ouarzazate to visit the city. Dinner and lodging waiting at a hotel in Ouarzazate.

Day 2 : Ouarzazate – Agdez – Zagora – M’hamid.
Morning departure with 4×4 to M’hamid through the Tizi N’Tinifift , the Draa Valley and its many kasbahs, skirting a Palm grove of over 200 km. On the way visit of the Kasbah of Tamnougalt and crossing the Draa palm grove on track, then joining the main road until Zagora. Visit of the Kasbah of Amzrou and the Village of Tamgroute best know by the cooperative of green poets, and its ancient library with books from the 11th century. Road to M’hamid, where the appointment with Dromedary walk to join the camp and to enjoy a wonderful sun set in the desert. Dinner and overnight in Berber nomad tents

Day 3: M’hamid – Chegaga
After breakfast, departure by 4×4 to cross the desert: sand dunes, Oasis, Hamada …until the big sandy dunes of Chegaga, the largest sand dunes . Lunch under the shade of palm trees, tamarisk, and in the company of a nomadic family when possible. In the afternoon, we continue the track to join the camp and have a taste of the real nomadic life, with all its secrets. Dinner and overnight in tents or under the stars.

Day 4: Chegaga – Agadir via Foum Zguid and Taroudant
After breakfast departure to follow the track between Taliouine and Erg Chegaga along the dry bed of the Draa through Lake Iriqui. Then Foum Zguid and onwards by road to Taznakht (optional stop in a carpet shop for a properly see the different kinds of carpets in the region). After lunch we take the road to Taliouine, famous for its safran and then join Taroudant, also known as the small Marrakech with its red ramparts and souks. After then drive back to Agadir.
