 5 days tour from Fes to Marrakech itinerary 

Day 1: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Errachidia – Ziz valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

At 8:00, your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Fes and start our 5-Day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech by taking you to the south of Morocco.

You will make a stop in Ifrane, named the Switzerland of Morocco, to take in its splendor and take some memorable pictures.

After that, you'll travel to Azrou to visit the monkeys in the cedar forest. Driving to Midelt to have lunch at a restaurant.

We will travel across the TIZI N TALGHAMT pass in the afternoon to reach Errachidia while taking in the scenery of the Ziz gorges.

You will eventually pause for a panoramic view of the Ziz valley.

After passing through Aoufous and Erfoud (the latter of which is renowned for its fossils and dates), on the way to the Erg Chebbi Dunes, you might want to halt at a nearby workshop that makes fossil items.

Following that, you'll proceed to the magnificent Erg Chebbi Dunes, also known as the Merzouga Dunes. Arrive at the hotel, where you will have dinner and spend the night.

Day 2: Merzouga 4x4 excursion and Camel Trek - Night in Desert Camp                            

On the Second day of this 5 Days Morocco Desert Tour from Fes to Marrakech, you will discover the hidden secrets of the Sahara Desert this morning after breakfast at the hotel.

A 4x4 desert tour of the dunes will be provided for you, allowing you to see the black volcanic rocks of fossils, a nomad family living in a tent, Khamlia village and enjoy their spiritual Gnawa music, as well as the lake Dayte Sarji, which forms in the spring and attracts pink flamingos and other wildlife. A lunch break will be served at Merzouga or Hassi Labied.

After lunch, you will visit the canal irrigation system and take a stroll in the oasis at the base of the sand dunes. Then, you will proceed to your hotel to rest.

Once at the hotel, be ready for an hour and a half camel trek to admire the sunset. You will continue to the camp, where you will spend the night in a conventional desert tent. Dinner and a night spent in the middle of the dunes in a luxury camp.

Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani – Todra gorges – Dades gorges   – Ouarzazate

On the third day of this Fes to Marrakech 5-Days Desert Tour, you will rise early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of a dune in the Sahara Desert, which you have never seen before, and to appreciate this gift from nature before having breakfast.

Following these breathtaking scenes, you will ride your camel back to the hotel, where you will have a shower. We will head to Tinghir, going through Erfoud and Tinejdad. Take a lunch break.

We will proceed via Tinghir to the Todra gorges in the afternoon. Taking breaks along the route to snap pictures and take in the scenery. Arrival at Todra Gorges for a hiking excursion to enjoy the breathtaking Canyon views.

Next, we will travel to Boumalne Dades, where we'll pause to take in the spectacular vista of the Dades valley. Have  Dinner and spend the night at the hotel or riad.

Day 4: Dades valley – Roses valley – Kelaat Mgouna – Skoura

After breakfast in the hotel this morning, we will begin our 5-days desert trip from Fes to Marrakech by leaving Dades Valley towards Ouarzazate through Boutghrar, Kalaa M'gouna, and Skoura.

The stunning rock formations ''Monkey Toes'' of the Dades Gorges will be our next stop. Take the route that eventually leads to the cave-dwelling nomad families.

We'll stop by a nomad family to visit them and drink tea in their shelter. Later, we'll cross the road and travel through the Rose Valley until we arrive at Kelaa M'gouna, where you'll have lunch.

We'll drive to Skoura in the afternoon to explore the Amridil Kasbah, which dates back to the 17th century. Arriving In Ouarzazate, where we'll have dinner and a hotel stay.

Day 5: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

You will have time to see the Taourirt Kasbah after breakfast at the hotel today, followed by another photo stop close to the las Film Studios. After that, you'll explore the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou before stopping for lunch in a local eatery.

We will continue to the red city of Marrakech in the afternoon through the high Atlas mountains passing via  (2260 m in altitude). We will conclude our 5 Day desert tour from Fes to Marrakech when we drop you off at your Marrakech accommodation.
